70% of all red meat consumed worldwide is goat meat!

In the United States alone, the number of goats slaughtered has doubled every 10 years, for the past 3 decades. The reason for this trend is perhaps because of the popularity of goat meat on a global scale. Goat meat is considered kosher, as well as halal, meaning it can be eaten by members of two internationally recognized religions.

The nutritional value of goat meat is substantial, with a similar sized serving of goat meat having one third the calories of beef, and much less fat. First goat cheese, and now goat meat is proving to be a healthy alternative for the flavors of food that we just can't seem to ignore.
