If your family car is costing and arm and leg to run you might be interested in the new creation called the Stella Solar car, which has been designed to be the first solar powered family car.
The Stella Solar car has been created by students at the Eindhoven University of Technology and been specifically designed to accommodate 4 people and power them along using the sun’s rays with a 600 kilo-metre range.

The Solar Team Eindhoven explains a little more about the Stella Solar cars design:
“The design of the car of the future has to meet the needs of modern consumers,”-”The car must be capable of transporting a family from the Netherlands to France in one day, it needs to be suitable for the daily commute to work, and it needs to achieve all this in comfort.”-”Since the Solar Team Eindhoven wants to contribute to the development of a car of the future, the design demands more than just a focus on speed,”-”Comfort, ease of use, and feasibility are all key terms.”
