newest century’s greatest inventions.However, the world’s first
wireless telephone conversation occurred in 1880, when Alexander Graham
Bell and Charles Summer Tainter invented and patented the photophone, a
telephone that conducted audio conversations wirelessly over modulated
light beams.
In other words; the sound travelled by light!However, it wasn’t that simple to use, especially since there were no utilities to provide electricity or lasers, hence it was limited by the availability of both sunlight and good weather.
