The United States released a bacterium into the New York Subway to people's vulnerability!

There's been a number of human experimentation in the United States considered unethical.

For example, in 1966, the US Army released a bacterium called Bacillyus globigii onto the New York Subway System.

The bacterium itself is harmless, but the fact that they would release a biological agent is considered controversial.

Why did they do it? It was part of a study that meant to test the vulnerability of subway passengers to actually harmful biological agents. The Army also subjected Chicago passengers to the same tests.
