You can keep slugs off your plants using coffee and egg shells!

If you have a plant that you want to protect from annoying slugs, you don't have to use chemicals to do it. There's a simple eco-friendly solution: Ground coffee and egg shells.

All you need to do is sprinkle coffee grounds around the plant you want to protect. Similarly, you can place crushed egg shells.

Now, this is still kinda gruesome. When slugs walk over the coffee or egg shells, their undersides are torn and they die before they can damage plants in your garden.

You can also use salt or cornmeal to do this, as they will dry out the slug and kill them that way.
