There is a 32 year old Chimpanzee that knows how to cook!

We’ve always been told that if there is an animal that comes anywhere close to being human is the chimpanzee… And they are right!There is a 31 year old Chimpanzee named Kanzi that knows how to start fires and cook! Making him one of the world’s smartest monkeys that have ever lived!

He knows how to cook for himself, and he is also pretty good at using the tools by knowing their functions and when it’s the right time to use them. He enjoys roasting marshmallows over an open fire and pan-frying hamburgers!

He currently lives at Iowa, where scientists have thought him how to use matches so that he can cook at any time he wants. He also communicates with people through symbols which represent different words!

He knows over 500 words in his keyboard and understands over 3,000 spoken words!You could even say that he is smarter than some humans!
