In 1977, a 13-year-old child found a tooth growing out of his Left foot

13-year-old Doug Pritchard from Lenior, NC had been complaining about severe pain in his left foot for weeks before his father took him to the doctor’s.
 The physician discovered that there was a real tooth with roots growing in Doug’s foot.The reason for this very peculiar case was a gene reproducing in the wrong spot as the doctor explained.Although rare, such cases of genetic misdirection are not unheard of. 

There are medical reports of teeth growing in odd body parts such as the eye,  the nose, the ear,  the ovary and the chest. Apparently, people should start asking dentists to examine outside of their mouths when they go for check-ups.
