Submarine missiles don't get wet even when they've been fired!

A submarine is a watercraft capable of independent operation underwater. It differs from a submersible, which has more limited underwater capability.

Modern U.S. Sub use a gas generator to force the missile out of the tube and into the air above surface. Ignition takes place above the water.

Some say there is so much gas generated that the missile never even gets wet, the missile is essentially inside a bubble as it goes to the surface.

When launched, submarine missiles never get wet, they travel in a bubble of nitrogen on the way to the surface.

If you want to check how it happens make sure you check the video in the source link!
