9/11 was also responsible for 1600 automobile deaths because so many people stopped flying and drove instead!
On September 11, 2001, when the United States
was attacked by foreign terrorists, all planes were grounded to make
sure that no more jets could be used as missiles.
As such, many people had to drive instead of fly to their destinations. Even when the airlines were back to operating, less people used them.

Inspiration behind 'Joker' character
While there’s an ongoing debate over who actually created the character of Batman’s iconic nemesis The Joker (comic book artist Bob Kane, writer Bill Finger and artist Jerry Robinson have all variously claimed the idea) one aspect of his origin seems to be relatively free from dispute: that the creators drew their visual inspiration from German actor Conrad Veidt’s portrayal of the character Gwynplaine in the 1928 film The Man Who Laughs. An adaptation of a Victor Hugo novel, the film was directed by German expressionist filmmaker Paul Leni, with Veidt in the title role.

Home remedies for mouth ulcers
If
the mouth ulcer is causing a lot of pain, gently rub a small ice cube
over the spot or rinse your mouth with ice-cold water. This won’t make
the ulcer disappear, but it can help reduce the pain. Similarly,
you could also chew on a clove bud (lavang) and direct the juice so
generated to the area where the ulcer is located. The mild anaesthetic
effect of the clove will reduce the pain you feel. To prevent the
ulcerated area from getting infected, make it a point to rinse your
mouth with a little salt water.

Vodka will not freeze if you put it in the freezer.
Vodka is a neutral spirit that contains only
water and alcohol. It does not require refrigeration and can be stored
at room temperature for years (but why?). The freezing point of alcohol
is at -113 Celsius so unless you have an industrial freezer, the vodka
will remain nice and cold albeit a bit thicker in consistency.

Earthquake Lights
These are mostly white or bluish flashes that
precede large earthquakes and last for several seconds. They have been
reported infrequently for hundreds of years, according to the U.S.
Geological Survey.
It wasn't until the 1960s, when people took pictures of this phenomenon during the Matsushiro earthquakes, that the scientific community started to take it seriously.
